I've already written a blog about Body shaming 👈 in one of my blogs and how it affects the people mentally and physically.
Showing Gratitude is one of the kindest way of expressing our love. Express that love to your body, embrace your body as it is, trust your body that it has its own healing power and love your body for making you strong and healthy. Today, let's realise the things that we don't realise and praise for supporting us throughout our journey in life.
What we learn with pleasure,we never forget !
Our body is made of many nerves, bones, blood cells, muscles, organs etc..., yet we run behind the things that aren't in our hands but we chase behind materialistic things ( fame, money, assets etc... ) Everyday show your gratitude to your body, " I'm grateful that I can see the beauty of nature. I'm grateful that I can hear the beauty of words through songs. I'm thankful that I can smell the fragrance of flowers , foods and even our loved ones. I'm glad that I can taste my favourite dishes that fulfills my stomach." "I'm thankful for having healthy body and mind" , "I trust my body and my body is healing from all the traumas and injuries"
There are lot many beautiful things we need to thank in life. Instead we focus on the things we don't have in life. We feel unfulfilled and unhappy. There are days we worry about our illness or we become ill due to our stress, worries and anxiety. Have you ever thanked your body for keeping you healthy in the days you haven't even taken care of it? Remember and be grateful to your body. Many might think & feel depressed for being fat, skinny, dark, short, tall etc .... the society will criticise you for everything and anything you do.
Love yourself and love your body. Thank it for being with you and bearing all the things you do with yourself. You eat plenty of unhealthy foods and undigested foods yet your body withstands and takes care of you. It eliminates all the toxins and processes the healthy ones. Your body functions 24/7 thank it and maintain it in a healthy way. Eat healthy, exercise, meditate,yoga take concern of your body. It is gonna be with you forever than any other people or things in this world.
Show your gratitude i.e., your thankfulness for all the beautiful things not only to yourself but also show your gratitude towards others. Appreciate good things in life. Compliment your friend for their kind gestures, for their beautiful smile, for their understanding, for their ways of handling situations etc....
Self love is the greatest of all which never disappoints you!
